Radymyr Tsiko
Radymyr Tsiko (b. 1991, Ukraine) began his musical education in 2005 at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Specialized Music School in Lviv, where he studied piano with Nadiya Rykova. From 2010 to 2015, he studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv in the class of the Ukrainian pianist and composer Oleg Bezborodko, completing his Master’s degree with honours.
At the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, he studied Piano Performance as well as Pedagogy with Prof. Manfred Tausch and Prof. Ayami Ikeba. During his studies, he received a scholarship from the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD).
Since 2025, he has been a Senior Lecturer in compulsory piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. In 2026, he began the Dr. artium programme at the Doctoral School for Artistic Research, where his artistic research project focuses on models of improvisation.
The pianist has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, a member of the Graz Salon Orchestra, and as a eurythmy accompanist. His artistic activities include projects with Styriarte, the Styrian Tonkünstlerbund, Prospettive Music Festival, stARTfestival, and Festival & Academia de Música International, as well as an appearance in the International Concert Season of AGIMUS Padova.
Radymyr has participated in masterclasses with Martin Hughes, Sofya Gulyak, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Vincenzo Balzani, Gabriel Kwok, Sergio De Simone, Stephan Möller, and Carlo Palese. He has also attended improvisation masterclasses with Bert Mooiman and Karst de Jong and incorporates his own improvisations into his concert programmes.
